Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) is

a non-stock, non-profit organization. It was incorporated in 1986 and was voted the Most Outstanding Chamber in the Visayas in 1998, 1999 and 2000. MBCCI is a member of Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). By furthering economic progress in Bacolod and the Province of Negros Occidental, the Chamber recognizes that ultimately all Negreses will benefit a better quality life.

The Chamber is the leader in addressing a wide range of issues that help business succeed. From programs to publications, trade and business delegations, to advocacy work, MBCCI provides an invaluable service to members.

The Chamber is an effective advocate for members' business interest. MBCCI leaders regularly meet with senior city, provincial and national government officials to discuss issues pertinent to members and their businesses. Membership is open to Filipino and non-Filipinos. Our members represent a number of nationalities working in large and small organization for many different industries. MBCCI is truly a diverse Chamber.

Linked

Through the national Membership Database and Business Matching System, the Chamber can link members to business counterparts throughout the Philippines. The Chamber also has established close links with key chambers across Asia, North America and Europe. Relying on an extensive network of contacts, the Chamber can also open the door to markets as far away as South America and Africa.

Involved

Good corporate citizenship is strong tenet of MBCCI and its members. The Chamber encourages involvement in civic activities that reaffirm commitment to the community on the part of business.

Helpful

MBCCI offers smaller organizations and individuals essential support services such as fax facilities and desktop publishing, including calling cards, stationery and company profiles. The Chamber can assist and with staff training in marketing, customer relations and other areas that help a business succeed. MBCCI also has an extensive reference library of contacts to aid members trying to locate new customers and new business partners.

Members make friends out of business contacts by socializing at pre-event receptions, informal cocktails, community events and other activities.

How to Join Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry?

One must pay an entrance fee of P 500 and annual dues of:

  • P 2,000.00 — Single Proprietorship / Professional
  • P 3,000.00 — Corporations / Partnerships
  • P 4,000.00 — Sectoral Associations / Multinational Corporations

A special Associate Membership Category is open to all non-business, non professional individuals and students. No entrance fee is required and annual dues are only P500.00 Membership is open to all companies and individuals, that subscribe to the objectives of MBCCI.

Filipino citizenship is not required. People of all nationalities – corporate entrepreneurs, professionals, government representatives, educators, students and individuals are eligible for MBCCI membership. Member are not required to reside in Metro Bacolod.
